This nine-day pilgrim's road traces the legendary path of Mary Magdalene from Spain into France, moving through three distinct landscapes as we follow her story into the heart of the Cathar lands and onward to Provence. We begin in Barcelona, journeying to a nearby site dedicated to the Black Madonna to encounter the void space of the womb — the primal, dark mother. From there we travel into the Cathar region of Southern France, based at the foothills of Montségur, one of the last Cathar strongholds, before completing our pilgrimage in Provence. This is a journey in motion: three sacred grounds, one unfolding legend, and a landscape that carries us forward step by step.
